Natural Turquoise Necklace - 23" Long

Award-winning Yaqui jeweler Michael Horse made this beautifully traditional necklace and set large stone of natural domestic turquoise in it. Two graceful leaves surround the magnificent turquoise with a leaf attached to each side. The two top leaves are attached to a handmade sterling silver chain with a hook and eye clasp. The links on the chain are wide enough to easily shorten it without permanently cutting the chain. He has been going through the turquoise he has collected for decades and decided on this one for this necklace. Michael Horse is an award-winning Yaqui jeweler who uses high quality stones in his work including natural high-grade turquoise, coral, lapis and more.  He is most well-known for the intricate katsinas he fabricates in his studio, and he is a master tufa carver.  He is also an award-winning ledger painter and actor with many roles in television and film.  Many people recognize him from his role as Deputy Hawk in the ground breaking Twin Peaks television series.
