Navajo Sterling Silver Eagle Feather Earrings

Navajo jeweler Chester Charley handmade these sterling silver, detailed eagle feather earrings. The quill is wrapped in sterling silver wire that dangle over the feathers. The top of the feather is detailed to the brilliantly shiny part below. One earrings is stamped C Charley on the back.

The eagle is sacred Indigenous people in North America as it takes our prayers to the Creator and is a blessing. This is why eagle feathers are so important as they are used to send prayers and bestow blessings. The eagle is also the guardian of the sky world for many tribes.
