Vintage Spider Broach

Grandmother Spider taught Navajo women how to weave.  This sweet little vintage sterling silver spider has a natural turquoise stone for the body.  It was well taken care of by the last person to wear it and it was part of a collection of vintage Native American jewelry.  The pinback is horizontal on the body which would make it easy to wear as a pendant by threading a chain through it.  Made in the 1950s to the early 1960s.
