This design was created by Yaqui artist Pennie Opal Plant on July 4, 2025 during a time of contention in the world. She hopes it will remind us all to embody these qualities with not only our human family, but everyone, including our non-human relatives, within the sacred system of life. A reminder of these qualities embodied every day and also has the capacity to remind the hearts of those who see it.
